Maintenance Services

Maintenance Services is responsible for the maintenance of projection, audio, video and dictation equipment. Maintenance work can be performed on University-owned and your home vcr and stereo equipment (no televisions) at competitive rates.

Equipment Purchasing

We can source, evaluate and purchase special order projection lamps and A/V equipment for your department or personal use. Some installations require equipment construction and modification which we are equipped to handle.

Turnaround Times, Rates and Payment

  • Allow three to four days for maintenance of Audio-Visual and Dictation equipment. Repair time may be extended by the time it takes for parts or manuals to arrive. Please inquire about the availability of back-up equipment.
  • There is a flat rate of $30.00 plus tax for VCR cleaning. All other maintenance work is billed at an hourly rate of $45.50 plus parts. Our rates are very competitive with outside equipment maintenance vendors, we would be happy to provide an estimate.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash, personal cheque, University or Hospital account numbers.
