Fenton, J. The Robert Fuge, a brig, travelled from Liverpool to Quebec City in the summer of 1819. The master of the ship was A.G. Blewett. On board were J. Fenton and 32 other settlers. The ship arrived in Quebec on 26 August, after a voyage of 60 days. Fenton kept a journal of the voyage. In additon, letters to friends that he wrote after his arrival in Quebec, and then from York in 1822 and 1826 are contained in the journal as well as an untitled poem and the musical score for "The Indian Hymn". Two leaves of the journal are badly torn. Many leaves are left blank. The inscription on the inside front cover is: "Transaction book of the Druids-in-deed". Manuscript 95.
