Co-operative Commonwealth Federation Co-operative Commonwealth Federation collection. -- 1933-1955. -- 38 cm of textual records. The Co-operative Commonwealth Federation was founded in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1933 and became Canada's first national socialist-democratic party. The collection is organized into two series: Federal and Ontario section. It includes minutes of committee, council and executive meetings, convention literature, correspondence, speeches, leaflets and pamphlets. The collection is supplemented by periodicals which have been catalogued for Research Collections; a few scattered periodicals remain with the collection. Leaflets and pamphlets form part of the Pamphlet collection. Researchers may also wish to consult the New Democratic Party and Ontario Woodsworth Memorial Foundation collections.
